Normal Mode:

During the Normal Mode a piece called a rectifier changes AC power to DC power. This powers up an inverter and charges batteries. Then, the inverter does its thing, turning the DC power back to AC. It does this with a process called the PWM method.
Battery Mode:
If a power surge happens, the input power voltage or frequency strays from normal, or if both happen at once, or finally if there’s an issue with the rectifier, the UPS will switch to battery power. It does this without any delay and powers the load straight from the batteries. When the battery life is all used up, the UPS automatically shifts over to a static bypass.
Bypass function:
